Grace Bible Church is sending a team to support the development of Young Life Bulgaria.  By day we will work alongside Bulgarian youth to construct a playground in the schoolyard of the public kindergarten in Tran, a small, impoverished town in western Bulgaria.  By night we will help the Bulgarians put on a Young Life camp program, Bulgarian style.

 

We will serve the Lord by encouraging the YL Bulgaria team, sharing our faith with unbelievers, and improving the local kindergarten.  At the same time, we will make new friends, learn about Bulgarian culture and history, and experience a little bit of life in this far away land.

 

This project continues work that has been ongoing in Tran for over five years.  The playground is a continuation of YL involvement in Tran, following up on a team from YL Czech Republic in 2009.  Long term commitment is yielding fruit for the kingdom in the form of transformed lives among the people of Tran.
